HWE Single Acting Hydraulic Wiper Seal is a polyurethane wiper seal designed to protect hydraulic cylinders from dust, moisture, and other external contaminants. Its interference-fit outer diameter ensures a secure fit in the housing groove, helping prevent contaminants from entering the cylinder.
A raised base design reduces the contact area between the piston rod and the wiper seal, helping lower friction and reducing the risk of the seal being pulled out of the groove during high-speed or long-stroke operation.
HWE is particularly suitable for low to moderate contamination environments, including hydraulic seals for injection molding machines and other industrial hydraulic applications.
